The Human Resources Shore department belongs to the Deutsche Afrika-Linien GmbH & Co. KG and is located in Hamburg. HR Shore is responsible for 260 employees working in the administration of the Deutsche Afrika-Linien / John T. Essberger Group.

Our HR Team in Hamburg consists of 4 HR experts. They all have deep knowledge of the tasks they are responsible for combined with a long working experience: Dr. Ulrich Wehrmeyer - Director Human Resources Silke Steinfurt - Manager Human Resources - Responsible for all HR related issues, e.g. recruiting, development, HR projects Alexandra Trinkus - Consultant Human Resources - Responsible for the administration of all HR processes and for the commercial apprentices Contact person for the interns Gerd-Adolf Rathje - Payroll- Responsible for all issues regarding salary payment
