Today the Group consists of the Deutsche Afrika-Linien operating traditional liner services to Southern Africa, East Africa and the Islands of the Indian Ocean, and John T.Essberger with its dry cargo and ship management divisions. E&S Tankers, a joint venture between Essberger and Stolt Tankers, is the latest addition to the group.

It offers analyses on a regular basis and provides prompt advice in difficult marine insurance situations.
